The construction project of Qom city monorail as the first monorail line in the country and with the aim of developing modern urban transportation systems with a length of 2.6 km and 5 stations (in the first phase) was put out to tender in July 2009 and a consortium consisting of sample project company Saman and Kayson Company were announced as the winners of the tender with the best score. This contract was concluded between Qom Urban Train Organization and the consortium of Saman and Kayson sample project company and was announced on 10/16/88.
