The term EPC is used for contract, project or contractor and companies. EPC contracts are contracts under which the employer outsources all activities of a project, including engineering and design, procurement and supply of all items and equipment, and ultimately construction, execution and installation to a contractor. This contractor can perform part of the activities through outsourcing and by subcontractors. In these contracts, zero to one hundred is the responsibility of the project and the performance of the work is the responsibility of the contractor or the company party to the contract and the employer or the owner is only responsible for the supervision and supervision of the project. This type of project is the highest level of responsibility to contractors. Companies that carry out EPC work, ie all three phases of engineering and design / supply and procurement / construction and execution, and commit to EPC contracts, are called EPC companies.
