Pre-launch and commissioning

Pre-commissioning is one of the most important steps in an industrial project. At this stage, also known as the Cold-Run, each rotating device is independently tested in the circuit and each is finalized and inspected.

This step requires careful planning and the documentation is fully compiled. This planning must be done by special software. Among the activities of this stage are as follows:

  • Prepare initial pre-launch and commissioning schedule
  • Performing Flashing‌ and Drying industrial washing operations, cleaning pipes and tanks according to the prepared instructions
  • Test electrical system and instrumentation including loops, alarms, trips and…
  • Electrify the boards
  • Line up according to P&ID
  • Free Run Rotating equipment such as generators, compressors, wires and turbines according to the employer and Vendor
  • Perform Mechanical Run and Load Run
  • Review documents, maps and instructions
  • Study and delivery of Mechanical Data Sheet documents
  • Study safety conditions before commissioning and provide safety solutions
  • Determining maintenance schedule by unit
  • Operator training and preparation for project delivery to the employer
