An important part of the main locomotive equipment such as control system, bogie, brake, chassis, body, etc. has been produced in the factories of Saman Project Axis Company and efforts have been made to use the capacities and potential of domestic companies in supplying other required parts and equipment. to be used.

Contract for 25 MAP24 locomotives

The contract for production and sale of 25 MAP24 cargo locomotives was signed between Saman Project Axis Project Railway Repair and Development Company and Saman Saman Project Axis Locomotive Engineering and Construction Company as a manufacturer in 2016. According to this contract, the first locomotive started its activity in April 1397 with number 1001 in Tehran depot and started operating on a trial basis. So far, 8 of these locomotives have been delivered and are in operation, and according to the schedule, all 25 of these locomotives will be built and delivered.
