General purpose annual reports are those annual reports that are prepared to meet the needs of users who are not in a position to receive reports appropriate to their specific information needs. General purpose annual reports include those annual reports that are submitted separately or in conjunction with other published reports for public use, such as the annual report. The provisions of this statement also apply to the consolidated annual reports of the Group of Business Units but do not apply to intra-period financial information.
