General purpose financial reports are those financial reports that are prepared to meet the needs of users who are not in a position to receive reports that meet their specific information needs. General purpose financial statements include those financial statements that are presented separately or in conjunction with other published reports for public use, such as annual reports. The provisions of this Statement also apply to the consolidated financial statements of the Group of Business Units, but do not apply to interim intensive financial information.
